About Me

My name is Rex Brown and I am a REALTOR®.  I moved to Tullahoma in 1985, purchasing a restaurant (Kitty’s) which my business partner and I managed for 6 years, selling it in 1992. I was offered a job managing the kitchen of a state-owned group home for girls, which I did for 2 years until I decided to go to work for Bridgestone in Morrison, TN building truck tires. I decided to buy my first home and had my first experience with real estate. In the next few years, I came to realize that not everyone had the same great experience that I had. After 5 years at Bridgestone, I realized that the manufacturing industry was not for me. I decided to become a REALTOR® and give my clients the kind of experience that I had in purchasing my first home. In 1997, I received my license and began a career I have come to love. In 2001, I received my Broker’s license and was elected to the position of Director of the Middle Tennessee Association of REALTORS®. I was elected President of the Association in 2005 and MLS Director in 2006-07. In 2005, I served on the contracts committee for the State Association of REALTORS(s) and subsequently became involved with the state association as GRI President, secretary of the Tennessee Real Estate Education Foundation, Divisional Vice-President of the Tennessee Association of REALTORS® and chairman of the Professional Standards committee. I share these things to demonstrate my commitment to the REALTOR® brand. During this time, I also helped many buyers and sellers navigate the process of buying a home, receiving my company’s Rookie of the year award and many other production awards. I have worked for several different companies over my career including a stint as Managing Broker, opening a RE/Max  franchise in Winchester. My goal is to make your real estate experience as successful and smooth as possible.
